Created organization’s video content and managed all multimedia production. Reported, filmed, and edited videos from Ethiopia, Kenya, and South Africa. Managed organization’s online video presence and designed and implemented video strategy. Trained staff on video production and storytelling.

The GroundTruth Project, Boston, Mass.-A nonprofit news organization based at WGBH
Multimedia Editor | Aug. 2012 – May 2015
Managed all video and multimedia content for GroundTruth special reports. Filmed and edited videos on topics ranging from abortion in Argentina to the war in Afghanistan to global youth unemployment.  Managed a team of reporters in the field, and led pre- and post-production processes. Created infographics, data visualizations and project art. Reporting from Argentina won 2015 Regional Edward R. Murrow Award for best use of video, and Special Report “Step by Step” won a national health journalism award in 2013.

Oversaw publication’s health blog. Produced videos, reported and wrote stories, and created graphics for a special report focused on HIV/AIDS. Edited, managed, and posted to the web all blog posts submitted for publication.

Developed and implemented organization’s web communications and multimedia. Managed existing website, and led the design of a new website. Produced videos profiling Root Capital’s clients. Traveled to Peru, Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica, conducted interviews in Spanish, shot and edited videos, produced audio slideshows, and wrote stories. Created organization’s first professional marketing materials. Wrote, designed, and distributed monthly e-newsletters.
